LiveWire was at the Urban Music Event at Gallery Oldham to screen the original hip-hop culture film, 'Wildstyle' and to also facilitate a documentary workshop with a group of young people.

The Manchester band ‘Oceansize’ gave their song ‘Paper Champion’ to LiveWire to create a music video.

Digital Olympics was a digital video and photography summer school. Participants worked in teams and were faced with a series of challenges testing their imagination and ability to work against the clock. This project was all about filmmaking relating to the Olympics.

Filmmaker Erinma Ochu worked with participants helping them create a short film. Captured concentrated on the process involved with creating a short film by looking at storyboarding, filmmaking and editing, with a one day journey across the city to shoot all of the footage.

This party included a screening of short films created by Short Fuse Gone in 90 Seconds and LiveWire Digital Olympics Summer Schools.

LiveWire participants were invited to come down to Cornerhouse and create a mural on the café walls.

A VJ’ing project run by Mark Haig and Deyan Raykov. This project ran for a week and introduced the LiveWire bunch to the hip art form that is VJ’ing by mixing sounds, music, graphics and visual samples with digital technology and live performance.
