LiveWire RoadshowLiveWire has run lots of different projects in the past from VJ'ing to web design projects. Flick through our archive and see what we've been up to :) During March 2005, a free LiveWire filmmaking workshop went on tour around the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester. The three-hour workshops were delivered in ten different community centres by two professional filmmakers and two assistants. During the workshops the young people were given information on LiveWire and Cornerhouse and learnt filmmaking and animation techniques. Every group made a short trailer for LiveWire and also recorded their workshop so that the filmmakers could edit a documentary of the whole ten workshops at the end of the roadshow. The finished documentary of the roadshow and the LiveWire trailers was screened at the Warrington Young People’s Film Festival on April 14th 2005 and some of the young people that took part in the roadshow also took part in a live internet TV interview with Lets Go Global on April 21st.
