Every Street DreamsEvery Street Dreams won Best Animation Award at the First Light Movies Awards '07 in London. Whoopee! Sean Bean presented the team with their award. Read the article and see the pics here. A LiveWire Studio film funded by First Light The making of Every Street Dreams took place between Sept and Dec 05. This documentary/animation film looks at the dreams of the individuals that live on one street in Manchester. People were asked to record their dreams and they were interviewed the next day by the film crew. The dreams were then recreated with animation. The ideas for this film came together through a collaborative process between young people and workshop leaders/filmmakers who attended LiveWire discussions. There's something for everyone in this little masterpiece, with the use of stop-motion, flash and cel animation. There's also a bit of blue screen and the use of special effects. Listen out for the soundtrack which was specially composed for the film. I've developed my filmmaking skills loads and learnt that not all professionals are scary! I've learnt a lot about film and animation and I would like to work on films when I'm older. It was hard work but fun and I made some new friends. Now I have something extra to add to my college portfolio." How do you rate this content?
