Part of exposures new talent in moving image festival ( www.exposuresfestival.co.uk) Monday 24th November 2008The most recent edition of the festival saw the LiveWire Management Team select a diverse range of films made by talented youngsters – actors, directors, editors, sound and camera crews. Themes ranged from real life dilemmas to film noir and there was even some inspiring claymation. For the first time ever we screened experimental shorts with live accompaniment and Mark Radcliffe came to present two awards. This year's winning films were: Lily, directed by June Gersten Roberts, The 'Digital Horizons' Project Team Cumbria, funded by Mediabox (winner of the LiveWire Management Team Award) One Week Later, Directed by Fern Down, Upper School and PVA Media Lab (winner of the Jury Award) See below for a complete list of films that were screened on the day. .................................................................................................................................................... Surreal Screen (15)This selection of films showcases young filmmakers' creativity as they explore hidden worlds and flights of the imagination through animation, science fiction and macabre films. This programme contains strong language and violence.

Inhumanity Dir: Paige Copsey and Jeremy De Coursey, Bridgewater College A futuristic story of one girl’s abduction.
